Egg Soda Recipe

Beverages Egg soda (Vietnamese: soda sữa hột gà, Khmer: សូដាក្រឡុកពងមាន់, lsau da kralok pongmean) is a sweet drink made from egg yolk and carbonated water, popular in Vietnam and Cambodia.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Carbonated water (as needed, about 1–2 cups / 250–500 ml / 8.5–17 oz)
  • Ice

Procedure

  1. Fill a glass with ice.
  2. In another glass, combine the condensed milk and egg yolk.
  3. Add carbonated water to the desired level, and mix until well-blended.
  4. Pour liquid over ice.
  5. Enjoy.
