Thai Lemonade Recipe

This is the Thai version of lemonade.

Ingredients

  • 125 ml water
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 stalks lemongrass
  • 2 cm piece of ginger, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 1 liter carbonated water
  • Lime, sliced, for garnish

Procedure

  1. Bring the water to a boil with the sugar, lemon grass, and ginger. Boil for 20 minutes.
  2. Allow the syrup to cool, then remove lemongrass and ginger.
  3. Pour the syrup in 4 large glasses, and add the carbonated water.
  4. Garnish glasses with lime discs.
