Caprese Salad Recipe

Caprese salad is a delicious Italian dish made with tomato and mozzarella cheese. It is quite simple but tastes great and looks attractive.
Ingredients
- 1 medium tomato
- A few basil leaves
- about ¾ the weight of Mozzarella cheese as the tomato, sliced
- Olive oil
- Balsamic vinegar
- Italian seasoning or oregano and pepper (optional)
Procedure
- Cut the tomato into about 5 slices.
- Put a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of each tomato slice.
- Cut a horizontal slit halfway through each slice.
- Put a basil leaf on top of each one.
- Sprinkle herbs over each slice.
- Drizzle some vinegar and olive oil on top. Do not mix the vinegar and olive oil.
- Eat fresh.
