Tamil Spice Mix (Milagai Podi) Recipe

Indian Cuisine Milagai podi is a mixture of crushed spices used as a condiment in Tamil cuisine. The mixture can be used dry or mixed with ghee or oil. It's great served with hot idlis or dosais.

Ingredients

  • 2 spoons red chile powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground turmeric
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3 spoons ghee, melted

Procedure

  1. Mix all ingredients
  2. Let sit 3 minutes.
