Coconut Chutney (North Indian) Recipe

Cuisine Coconut chutney is served as an accompaniment to many South Indian dishes, such as dosa and idli. This recipe is a North Indian variant.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded fresh coconut
  • 1–2 split green chillies
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup chopped cilantro
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup water

Procedure

  1. Grind all ingredients well in a blender.
  2. Serve within 2 days.
